The Musical Pioneers
Time & Location
About the Event
We are taking this opportunity to go virtual with an evening of 10 musical theatre songs. With many of the performances we hoped to take part in cancelled or postponed, we decided to take this time to learn something new. To listen to music from composers that we hadn't heard before and to give an opportunity for some of the up and coming musical theatre writers in Tokyo to have their music heard.
We will feature songs from established international songwriters Gus Gowland, Brandon Michael Lowden, Eamonn O'Dwyer, and Stephen Randoy, and from up and coming local songwwriters Kevin McHugh, Jon Sabay, and Alex Page.
We have 3 ticket options for the performance. If you are able to support us financially we have solo tickets if you are watching alone or team tickets if you will be watching with friends. We are aware that 2020 is a difficult year for all of us, so we also have a free option if you need it.
The event will will premiere on You Tube at 7pm JST on the 14th November, and will remain available to watch-on-demand for the next 48 hours.
Warning: Please note that some of these songs contain adult content including violence and sexual innuendo, and therefore may not be suitable for children.
