One Silent Night is an account of the now famous Christmas Truce of 1914.  The narrative includes first hand, the experiences of soldiers on the front line. This haunting and hopeful piece of history is framed by classic Christmas carols as sung on the day. 


Our seasonal broadcast features the spoken voices of  Rachel Walzer (narrator), Sascha Bansemer (soldiers), Tom Harwood (soldiers), and Tim Jeffares (soldiers), and the singing voices of Joan Chen (alto), David Cruz (tenor), Kelly Haavaldsrud (alto), Jonah Hagans (bass), Spenst Hansen (tenor), Leela McMullen (soprano), Tony Malerich (tenor), Karen Pauley (soprano), and Norwin Simms (bass).
